CALL FOR PAPERS - SDC2025
SDPI’s flagship event, the Twenty-eighth Sustainable Development Conference (SDC), Sustainable Development in the Emerging World Dis|Order, held from 4 – 5 November 2025 at Islamabad, Pakistan. The mega event showcased 11 plenaries, 32 sessions and 7 fireside chats.
SDC Unit is now collecting papers from this year’s event. Speakers who participated in the Conference are given an opportunity to contribute a chapter to SDPI’s peer reviewed and edited volume (SDC Anthology) that is launched at the succeeding conference (SDC 2026). We request you to consider submitting research or a working paper/policy brief/argumentative essay for this purpose based on your Panels/Plenaries/Presentation at SDC 2025. You may send it to us by 15 December 2025. Please submit it in MS word (not PDF) not exceeding 5,000 words along with an abstract of 150 words. Please use the Harvard Style of referencing. REVIEW AND PUBLICATION PROCESS: The first step in the publication process is the software review. If your paper has already been submitted to the software, please share the originality report. Single-blind peer review and editorial processes will follow. If the referee/review committee/editors return it with suggestions and comments, the paper will be returned to the author for addressing those comments/suggestions. Once all the papers have been reviewed, revised, approved and edited, then the SDPI will send the manuscript to the publisher.
Papers exceeding 5,000 words have to brought within the word ceiling. The references section should be according to Harvard Citation (Author/Date) style. Kindly ensure that all references within text and in the reference section are in order before you submit the paper; and all images/graphs are in black-and-white only.
